Furry Godmother Pet Sitting has been serving Rutherford county, North Carolina since 2008. I come to your home and care for your animal friends where they are most comfortable. Boarding is not always the best or healthiest option, especially for pets that are sensitive, have health concerns, or are very timid, submissive or shy. Boarding can compound stresses and in extreme cases, even traumatize sensitive pets.
What is the best option to boarding? Petsitting, of course! Like you, your pet is most comfortable and at ease when at home. Home is sanctuary, where you and they can let down and truly relax. Pet owners who use a petsitter commonly report that upon their return home, their pets are in a happy and relaxed state (and naturally glad to see them!). There may be hygienic considerations to boarding also. Even though reputable kennels have vaccination requirements for their clients, simply being around so many other animals is a natural opportunity for certain diseases and parasites to be passed around.

For ease of scheduling, my visits are structured as follows and are priced by time spent, not number of animals:
15 minute visit: $18 30 minute visit: $25 45 minute visit: $31 60 minute visit: $38 NEW! Bed + Breakfast: $85 For pets who need a little extra time and attention. It includes- *One longer evening visit (1.5 hours) between the hours of 7:30-10pm. *One early morning visit (30 minutes) between the hours of 7:45-8:30am. Holiday fees: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day. $10 fee per visit in addition to regular price. (EX: each 30 minute visit is $35 instead of $25 on these holidays) If you like, I'll keep your key on file for future visits. If you want your key returned after the last visit there is a $10 fee to deliver. |
